I have always had a fascination with machines and mechanical engineering to the point I devoted my working life to it. I have previously owned old cars and vintage English motorcycles. A couple of years ago I was fortunate enough to buy a 1968 BMW R60/2 motorcycle that Martin had restored, it was my first BMW motorcycle and the start of a love of classic German Engineering and the marque. That motorcycle is one of the most beautiful pieces of engineering art and one that I absolutely loved riding and maintaining. That motorcycle has been now sold on to a gentleman in Perth, Western Australia and Martin is restoring a 1962 R69S for me. Martins attention to detail and ability to manage all aspects of classic motorcycle restoration and maintenance on these old Engineering artworks is of the highest standard. Martin and Dye have gathered a comprehensive group of artisans from painters, machinists, welders and pinstripers, so the work that they can manage has no limit or rival. I have really enjoyed the “community” Martin and Dye have created with their business and have met some great people from true artisans in their fields, to other owners of their motorcycles. I’m truly looking forward to my next bike from BMWerks.
Thank you Martin and Dye.

I have purchased two bikes from Martin, an R60/2 and an R69S. Both bikes have been restored to an extremely high standard. I have won several awards including best motorcycle at the Perth Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, and the R60/2 recently featured in a menswear catalogue. I would have no hesitation in recommending Martin to anyone looking to purchase a classic motorcycle.

“Always wanted a BMW R60 since seeing one in Austria 20 years ago. Then discovered by accident that Martin had the same passion for vintage BMW motorbikes. Got a dream offer i couldn’t refuse.
Martin’s attention to detail in the restoration was next level. The service was exceptional and I was like a kid to candy on delivery day.
My 1969 BMW R60US is perfect and a piece of art.
Strongly recommend Martin for any vintage bike restoration
Cannot wait for my next project
One happy mid-life crisis customer !!!! “
